At Vasu's Overseas, We provide everyone with dedicated assistance in accessing scholarship information to help manage education expenses. Firstly, the students are assisted in identifying and applying for scholarships provided by universities, governments, and other organizations. The center provides crucial information about eligibility criteria, application deadlines, and required documents for these scholarships. Additionally, we recommend to students for merit-based scholarships and keep them informed about potential grant opportunities that align with their specific fields of study or research interests.
What Are The Scholarship Criteria?
All applicants must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, must have graduated by September from an Orange Unified School District (OUSD) high school OR from another high school while residing in the OUSD attendance area. Applicants must be planning to attend an accredited college, university, community college or trade or technical school as a full-time student in the fall. Members of Assistance League of Orange and other local Assistance Leagues and Auxiliaries and their immediate and extended families are not eligible to apply.
Our program identifies individuals with incredible resilience, determination, and commitment to education as a path to a better life for themselves and their families. We offer four types of scholarships to students who attend community colleges and subsequent four-year institutions: New Recipients, Previous Recipients, New Foster Recipients, Previous Foster Recipients.
Scholarships are awarded annually in May, during a special reception for recipients and their guests. This year’s awards will be: $2,500 for New and New Foster Recipients; $4,000 for Previous and Previous Foster Recipients.
Our mission is to promote international education worldwide through the development and publication of the most comprehensive database of scholarships for international students and International Education Financial Aid information available on the internet.
